Lunetta Prosecco Cavit is a leading cooperative in the mountainous Trentino region of northeast Italy.
Lunetta brut white sparkling wine
Cavit's Lunetta Prosecco Spumante is made only from Glera grapes cultivated in the Veneto area, in the hills north of Treviso, between the Piave and the Prealps. The Glera grape flourishes in this area's fresh, loose hill soils, and the average yield are 90 hl/ha. The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The second fermentation is carried out in a tank, after which the wine is on lees for three months before bottling.
A deliciously soft and fruity Prosecco with a bit of apple and white peach on the smell and a fresh, softly sparkling palate with characters of soft ripe stone fruits.
Lunetta rose sparkling wine.
The grapes are sourced from the hills of the Adige and Vallagarina valleys in Trentino. Grapes were hand-harvested at the start of September. Chardonnay grapes were soft pressed to yield the best portion of must - after decanting for 10-12 hours, this goes into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. The red grapes are harvested early to maintain good acidity levels and are vinified as for rosé wines. After stabilisation and clarification, the wine undergoes a second fermentation (Charmat method)
