The grapes for Comte Joseph Cognac XO are 50% from the Petite Champagne and 50% from the Grande Champagne. The distillate ripens in oak barrels, the oldest contained fires are up to 30 years old. The barrels mature in the damp cellars on the banks of the Charente.
