In The Vineyard
Vines are mostly old bush vines (average age
between 20-30 years), planted at a density of
approx 3700/ha. Soils are deep red Paardeberg
soil. No irrigation is used on the vineyards and very
little crop control is needed due to the age of the
vines naturally restricting yield. All grapes are
harvested by hand.
In The Winery
Produced from only free run juice and fermented on
skins in stainless stell tanks. The wine is left on
fine lees for an extended period for greater palate
weight and mouthfeel.
Food Recommendations
Perfect for picnics, or good with seafood and
poultry dishes.
