Chateau Margaux is the most famous Chateau in the appellation of the same name. It is one of the largest wine estates in Bordeaux, both in terms of surface area and reputation. In the Margaux appellation, it ranks among the first classified growths in the official Medoc wine classification of 1855.

FERMENTATION :
The old fermentation cellar was recently rebuilt and now houses temperaturecontrolled
stainless steel vats. A new ageing cellar was also built.

AGEING :
18-24 months in new oak barrels with racking every 3 months. The final
blending is done just before bottling, and the wine is neither fined nor
filtered
