Ch Potensac 1995, is a vineyard in the Medoc appellation of the Bordeaux wine region of France, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels

Ch Potensac 1995. Elegant, well-seasoned oak and plenty of cabernet sauvignon black currant, Cru Bourgeois

Tasting notes, Robert Parker, 87 points
Elegant, complex, and evolved, the saturated dark ruby-colored 1995 exhibits herb-tinged, black currant/weedy cassis-like flavors that are supple, round, generous, and appealing. This wine does not possess the power and density of fruit found in the 1996, but it is a delicious, reasonably priced claret that should have broad crowd appeal for a decade or more. A sleeper.
Ch Potensac 1995
Château Potensac benefits from the talents of the Delon family, also owner of Léoville Las Case and Nénin. The vineyard, with an average age of thirty years, is situated on clayey-gravelly soil. The wines produced are perfectly structured, dense, with blackcurrant fruity notes of cedar and spices. This crude bourgeois deserves the rank of fifth classified growth in view of the exemplary regularity of the quality of production.
