Robert Parker tasting notes, rate 92 points, 1983 Graham's Port wine
Graham is another great port house, making one of the most-coloured and sweetest styles of vintage port. With Taylor and Fonseca, Graham was the most consistent making of great ports in the post-World War II era. Their tawny is good rather than exceptional, but their vintage ports are sublime and sumptuous. 1983, like most vintage ports, seems more forward than normal but has a great depth of ripe, viscous, unctuous, plummy, tarry fruit and significant tannin in its long finish. It is black-purple in colour. I doubt it will be as profound or as long-lived as the excellent 1977, but it is certainly one of this vintage's top two or three ports, and better than the beautiful 1980.

You can upgrade the 1983 wine gift box with attachments, one ring bottle, one corkscrew and one wine stopper.
