Tasting for the 1959 wine, The 1959 Rivesaltes, has a pale amber hue. For me, this is missing a little penetration on the nose, with rather airy scents of wet wood, orange rind and quince. The palate has a tang of bitter orange on the entry, lemongrass and black pepper following soon after. There is a slightly viscous texture offset by a subtle oxidative note on the finish. 480 bottles produced. 2018 - 2030. score 89, Neal Martin, vinous.
