Chablis is Isolated geographically from other Burgundy vineyards, this region has a singularity linked to its typicity and its location. Chablis produces almost only white wines, classified in village, first crus and grands crus known throughout the world. The first Cru Montmains is located in the south-west of the village and is distinguished by the qualitative regularity of its production whatever the vintage. Chablis 1er Cru,
pale golden color with very light green reflections. The nose is fruity and expressive on notes of citrus and lime, but also white fruit, all with a dominant mineral. On the palate, this 1er Cru shows a beautiful richness and a real typicity that comes from its soil, with a chiseled and elegant tasting, not without funds (the whole will be rounded over the next 5 years).

This Chablis 1er Cru Montmains is recommended to accompany all shells and fish.
It is, of course, an excellent aperitif. It will accompany successfully a fresh goat bread or fish terrine, marinated raw salmon or grilled prawns. After three more years it will be recommended for classic dishes like a cod, salmon lasagne, roasted sea fish. Finally later it is imagined to accompany a rib of veal or a creamed fowl (after 5 to 6 years).
