Samorens Cotes-du-Rhone red wine.

Tasting notes, 88 points, The Wine Advocate
Offering lots to love, the 2014 Côtes du Rhône Samorens has lots of pepper and dark berry fruit to go with a medium to full-bodied, rich, nicely textured and mouth-filling style on the palate. Drink it over the coming 3-4 years.

This tiny northern Rhône-based estate makes a fine set up of southern Rhônes.
Grenache (85%), Syrah (10%),
Cinsault (5%).
The vineyards are situated on the left
bank of the Rhône. Alluvial soil and
gravely soil.

The grapes are destemmed and the
vinification takes place in vats.
The extraction is made by punching
down to ensure a good extraction of
the tannins.
The maceration lasts around 15 days.
Temperature-controlled vinification.

In vats.
