The Chardonnay grape is the soul of Maison Ruinart. Its grapes, mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, are at the heart of all its cuvées.
Nose subtle, fine, fresh, with aromas of cherry and red berries just picked. Pointed with floral notes (pink, hawthorn) and spice notes (tonka, nutmeg).
The color is of a pink pomegranate delicate, reflections very slightly orange. The effervescence is lively and light, with a persistent cord.
The nose is subtle and fresh, first offering an original palette of exotic fruits (guava, lychee), and small red fruits (raspberry, cherry, wild strawberry). Notes of pink and pomegranate complete this complex and intense aromatic profile, dominated by evolved primary aromas.
On the palate, the attack is frank and full, rocked by a gentle effervescence. The aromas of red fruits just picked are fully expressed. The balance combines roundness gourmande and pretty freshness, which is expressed on an elegant and invigorating touch of mint and pink grapefruit.
Blended on a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir basis, mostly classified as Premiers Crus, with 20 to 25% reserve wines from the previous 2 years.
