Taylor's Vargellas Port 2002 , the Port house of Taylor, Fladgate Yeatman was established in 1692 by Job Bearsley. Taylor's were also the first British firm to purchase vineyards in the Douro Valley. The current name of Taylor, Fladgate Yeatman is derived from subsequent partners in the firm, these being Joseph Taylor, who joined in 1816, well over a century after the firm's inception, John Fladgate who joined in 1837, and Morgan Yeatman who joined in 1844.
