Chateau La Clotte. Grand Cru St Emilion 2007, the price will include the VAT and duty.

One of the sexiest, most hedonistic wines of the vintage, La Clottes 2007 (fewer than 1,400 cases produced from this 10-acre vineyard) is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. An exquisite perfume of underbrush, charcoal, kirsch, spice box, chocolate, and espresso soars from the glass of this full-bodied claret. With low acidity for the vintage, sweet tannin, and a fleshy, multi layered mouth feel, this decadent St.-Emilion should last longer than its precocious showing in March suggests. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025. 93 Points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2008).

Chateau La Clotte. Grand Cru St Emilion 2007

Château La Clotte is a unique garden of only 4 hectares of vineyards, located a stone's throw from Saint-Emilion, between the Porte de Brunet and Vallon Fongaban until the Pavia coast. Backed by the side of the cliff, the small family home, flanked by his two limes contemplates this great vineyard as the hand. From either side of the building run deep career mazes for certain processed in aging cellar where wine can be peacefully. Contiguous to the careers we still see the traces of a troglodyte house. The famous little neo-Gothic tower, emblem of the property, proudly overhangs the field, it transforms the stony ridge of limestone plateau of undulating walls.
