Sierra Grande ChardonnayIn The Vineyard: Grapes are sourced from a stunning 200 year old hacienda which sits amidst strawberry fields in the Andean foothills above Talca in the beautiful Maule
Valley. Produced from old vine Chardonnay (25-40yrs) grown on the Hacienda Valle Frio estate in Maule Valley. The altitude here means that the diurnal temperature variation extends the growing season balancing ripeness and acidity.
In The Winery: No oak is used so the wine is a pure expression of the fruit. The old wooden winery in the midst of strawberry fields has survived all of Chile's worst
earthquakes over the past 2 centuries.
Food pairing: Perfect with poultry, fish dishes creamy pasta bakes.
