Saint Veran Jaboulet-Vercherre white Burgundy white wine Pale yellow in colour, with green reflections, In the nose, aromas of fresh citrus, like lemon or grapefruit, and pear. This wine is fresh, lively and fruity, but remains round, with a long finish.
TERROIR
The vines are located in what in Burgundy is called "the golden belt of the
Pouilly Fuissé vineyard", in the south of the Macon area, south of
Burgundy. The limestone clay soils from the Jurassic era of this vineyard allow the
Chardonnay to perfectly express itself. This appellation spreads over the villages of Saint-Veran, Chasselas, Chânes, Leynes, Prissé, Davayé, on a 420 hectares area.

100% Chardonnay

WINEMAKING
Manual harvesting with grape sorting before the vinification.
Fermentation in stainless steel vats, with maturation in oak barrels for 6
months.

WINE TASTING
Pale yellow in colour, with green reflections
In the nose, aromas of fresh citrus, like lemon or grapefruit, and pear.
This wine is fresh, lively and fruity, but remains round, with a long finish.

FOOD PAIRING
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with starters, oysters, fishes and white
meats.
