Ch Cheval Blanc 1973 wine. Only 300 barriques were made (21 hectolitres per hectare) due to the very dry conditions. Severe "coulure" hit the Merlots and this was the only year where all the (miniscule) Cabernet Sauvignon at the property was used - and they were ripe! Wonderfully complex nose.
