Estratgo Real Eguren family wine 12 bottles
Estratgo Real Eguren family wine 12 bottles ( offer ). PICK A CASE OF RED, WHITE OR ROSE WINE
Fruity palate with a vanilla/coconut edge. An soft eligent crowd pleaser. Very good. A fabulous value from the Eguren family, owners of the Rioja estate San Vicente. To quote Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate, "It is frustrating that many consumers, restaurants, wholesalers, and retailers cannot believe such inexpensive wines are well-made. I suggest tasting this example." It exhibits a shockingly fragrant, clean, floral-scented nose, light-bodied, flowery flavors, and a dry finish. It is meant to be consumed while still young and fresh. Robert Parker points. red, white, rose 88-89
Dominio de Eguren Rose. A knock-out rose, Rosado is a combination of equal parts Bobal and Tempranillo. A projected, exuberant, flamboyant bouquet of cranberries and framboise soars from this light-bodied, fruity, hot pink-colored effort. Robert Parker 88 points
Dominio de Eguren White. A blend of the indigenous Airen grape (60%) and Macabeo (40%), is a tank-fermented and aged, dry, crisp white. Hints of lemon oil, citrus, sea breezes, and mint emerge from this tasty, food-friendly 2005. Enjoy it over the near-term. Robert Parker 87 Points
Dominio de Eguren Red. Tinto is a 100% Tempranillo aged six months in tank and six months in large oak barrels. It reveals a deep ruby/purple color as well as sweet, black cherry and raspberry fruit, hints of licorice and underbrush, medium body, lovely purity, silky tannin, and enough acidity for uplift. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Luckily for me, it is the house wine of Baltimore’s top-notch Spanish bistro and tapas bar, Pazo, the hottest restaurant in the city at present.
