Chateau Grand Corbin Despagne 2002 St. Emilion Grand Cru. The vineyard lies on the Pomerol/Saint Emilion border, covering 26 hectares on clay/sandy soils with high iron content crasse de fer and ancient sands. Most of the vines are devoted to the Merlot, 75% of the total area with 24% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The average age of the vines is 37 years with a planting density of 6,000 vines per hectare.

An intense ruby-red colour. Chateau Monbousquet 2003 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Delicate woody aromas with notes of toast and ripe fruit. In the mouth the attack is supple and full, the tannins refined and the structure very aromatic. The red fruit comes to the fore - blackberry and cherry. Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2003. Expresses itself in a powerful and opulent style. Very fine and Pauillac-like nose (blackcurrant, blackberry, tabacco...) and a palate which is extremely soft wine, complex and rich in ripe and fresh fruits. Dark red wine, good intensity. Fruity nose, fresh, ripe, fine. The palate starts velvety and rapidly becomes ample and fleshy in the middle. Creamy touch, it develops aromatics, with tannins particularly coating and ends on a nice length.

Wines of Fronsac combine some of the perfume and soft fruit of neighbouring Pomerol to the east with the structure of Bourg to the west. This is a robust Claret with deep colour and full flavour.

Les plantes du Mayne 2004 Saint Emilion Grand. The vineyards of Château GRAND MAYNE, situated on the slopes at the foot of one of the best hillsides in the region, planted in clay and limestone, sandy-gravelly soils over a subsoil of clinker hard pan, also produce a second wine, called "Les Plantes du Mayne".

Very deep, almost opaque robe. Very intense, spicy, complex, refined nose, in which mingle red and black berry aromas (blackberries, cherries and Morello cherries) alongside liquorice, coffee and vanilla notes. On the palate the attack is full, then the wine develops both length and flavour. The silky tannin finish bears the inimitable hallmark of a great Pauillac. The palate aromas are very long. Chateau Gloria is the creation of a man named Henri Martin, descendent of a family of coopers. During his lifetime he managed to acquire the land, bought in small parcels from Cru classes, to replace the vineyard his father had sold. The wine has a likeable character and in taste is usually generous, with smooth fruit. It is rounded, very accessible, yet firm and with restrained tannins

Chateau Recougne, Bordeaux Superieur 2005. This blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc has a powerful bouquet of cherry from the great 2005 vintage

The enticing aromas Bordeaux red wine include blackberry and cherry with subtle oak notes. The surprisingly complex palate includes juicy flavors of cassis, plum and blackberry with a nice hint of spices and soft tannins that linger on the medium length finish. 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ch. Sergant 2005 Lalande-de-Pomerol. The palate is full bodied, with sweet tannins, fresh acidity, and shows a core of ripe fruit all encased in a fine tannin structure. There are notes of bitter chocolate, blueberries and tar.
