Ice wine Burg Layer Johannesburg 2002 Wednesday 1/2 bottle. This grape was picked on Wednesday 11/12/2002. The Tuesday picking was a great wine but the Wednesday was the best Eiswein vintage in Michael Schafer's life time. The Tuesday picking had reached to the Oechsle of 130 degree which has the power to make a great Eiswein. On the Wednesday it reached the concentration of 152 degrees Oechsle. Mr Schafer described this quality as "magic"
